Business Line of Credit FAQ

What Is A Business Line Of Credit?

A business line of credit is a revolving credit limit you draw from as needed, paying interest only on the amount you use. Our lines run up to $500,000 with draw terms up to 36 months.

What Credit Score Do I Need For A Business Line Of Credit?

There is no minimum credit score for our line of credit program. Qualification is based mainly on revenue: at least $14,000 in monthly sales and nine months or more in business.

How Do I Repay A Business Line Of Credit?

You repay only what you draw. Depending on the program, payments are interest-only or fixed monthly amortizations, and interest is charged only on the outstanding balance, not the full limit.

Can I Draw Again After I Repay?

Yes. A line of credit is revolving, so principal you repay becomes available to draw again, up to your approved limit, for as long as the draw term is open.

What Is The Difference Between A Line Of Credit And A Term Loan?

A line of credit gives ongoing access to funds you draw as needed, which suits uneven cash flow, inventory and seasonal gaps. A term loan pays out one lump sum with fixed payments, which suits a single planned purchase or refinancing.

What Can A Business Line Of Credit Be Used For?

Common uses include covering cash-flow gaps between receivables, buying inventory, meeting payroll in slow months, handling seasonal swings and taking advantage of supplier discounts.
